Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Stenstill (the “Service”), a product of BravyCode, available at stenstill.com and as the Tattoo Stencil Maker mobile app for Android and iOS. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Stenstill lets you generate tattoo stencils from photos or text prompts using AI, save them to your account, and print them. The Service is offered on a freemium basis: core features are free, and some features may require a paid plan. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, or change what is free and what is paid, at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. Tattoos are permanent and are subject to age and licensing laws where you live — you are responsible for using any stencil lawfully and for meeting the legal age to get a tattoo in your jurisdiction.

3. Your account

You can use the Service anonymously or with a registered account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and your device secure and for activity that occurs under your account.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Paid features purchased in the mobile app are billed through your app store (Google Play or the Apple App Store) and are subject to that store’s terms, including its refund policy. Paid features purchased on the website are billed through our payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time through your app store subscription settings or your account, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable use

  • Only upload images you own or have the right to use. Do not upload content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • Do not use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, hateful, or harmful content.
  • Do not abuse, scrape, overload, or attempt to circumvent the fair-use limits or security of the Service.
  • Do not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Service or its software, or attempt to extract its source code, except where permitted by law.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos you upload and the stencils you generate. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit your content (including sending it to our AI providers) only as needed to operate the Service for you. You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload your content.

7. AI-generated output

Stencils are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies or artifacts. Output is not guaranteed to be unique, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose, and similar prompts may produce similar results for other users. You are solely responsible for reviewing output and for any decision to use it — including getting a tattoo, which is permanent. We strongly recommend working with a licensed professional tattoo artist.

8. Mobile app and devices

  • The mobile app uses third-party services — including Google Play Services, Google Analytics for Firebase, and RevenueCat — each governed by its own terms.
  • You are responsible for your internet connection and any charges from your mobile provider, including data and roaming charges, and for keeping your device charged and in working order. We are not responsible if the Service is unavailable because of your connection or device.
  • We do not recommend using the app on a jailbroken or rooted device. Doing so can expose your device to malware and may cause the app to malfunction; we are not responsible for resulting issues.
  • We may release updates to the app, and you may need to install them to keep using it. We may also stop providing the app at any time.

9. Intellectual property

The Stenstill and Tattoo Stencil Maker names, logos, software, website, and app are owned by BravyCode and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy or modify them or use our trademarks or branding without permission. These Terms do not grant you any rights to them.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BravyCode will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or any AI-generated output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months or USD 50.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Upon termination, the rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms end.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
